This number has been calling me loads, some bloke called Tyler claiming he’s with Virgin Media tech support. I wouldn’t believe a word from them. Seems like a proper scam to me. Avoid it!

I recently found out someone was using my National Insurance number for dodgy stuff. Totally freaked me out! It’s mad how easily these things can get into the wrong hands. Had to sort it all out and make sure nothing bad happened with my details. Watch yourselves and keep an eye on your info, these scammers are everywhere!

Got a call bright and early at half past 7, apparently from Amazon. They said an iPhone was bought on my account for £1100 and told me to press 2 if it wasn’t me. I don’t even own an Amazon account, so there’s no way I’m falling for that!

Got two calls yesterday from some automated voice about dodgy activity on my Amazon account saying I owed £1000. They asked me to press 1 to speak or 2 to report fraud. I just ended the call straight away. I got another call today, didn’t pick up but they left a voicemail about suspicious activity on my account for the same £1000 and didn’t even say which account this time. Definitely a scam, stay clear!

I got a voicemail from a Luton landline which was pretty strange. Earlier that day, I was chatting with a colleague in my office about a crime I’d heard reported on the radio. We talked about it happening in North Wales and involved a fraudster based in Luton. Then out of nowhere, this call from a Luton BT number comes through claiming they’re looking into a fraud in North Wales and threatening to prosecute me using my NI number unless I press 1 to talk to some investigator from the National Crime Agency. Honestly, it gave me a right fright.

I didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar, and it turned out to be spam anyway.

Phone didn't pick up cos it said unknown number and no voicemail was left. My phone flagged it as spam. I'm located in Shropshire, WV15.

Somebody rang me claiming my national insurance number was involved in dodgy business and that I'd be fined if I didn’t get in touch. I decided to mess about a bit and gave them rubbish info since I had a bit of time to kill. I’m sure I’ll get an email soon from some Nigerian prince asking for cash - as if that’s ever going to happen!
