Got a call from this number around half past nine today, but my call blocker stopped it from going through. Added it straight to my block list now.

I picked up and the bloke said something about my landline. When I asked who he was, he started rambling on about some prize related to my phone. I just told him no cheers and hung up - sounds like another dodgy scam call.

Was definitely a scam call. They never bother leaving a voicemail, you can always spot it.

As soon as I said hello and they replied, they just hung up straight away. Definitely a scammer, sounded like one of those call centres using an autodial machine.

So this guy rings up saying he needs to speak to the 'business owner' about our website. I told him the owner wasn't around and asked if he could leave some contact info so a callback could be arranged. But he just said he’d call back later instead. I mentioned I had no clue when the owner would be back, so it’d make more sense to leave his details now. Instead, he told me to check their own website for contact info. Turns out, their website has a completely different phone number - bit of a surprise!

Sounds like a scam. The person on the other end just made some strange noises and then just ended the call. I'm guessing it was some sort of robot or automated call that just quickly dropped me and went off to bother someone else.

When I asked him who he was working for, he mentioned he was from Luton and gave a company name I didn't know. He was talking about BT phones switching to digital or something like that. Then he just ended the call.
