Picked up the phone and it was a girl who looked like she wasnt even paying attention to me, more like talking to someone else. Then the call just dropped. Used 1471 to get the number. Same number has buzzed me thrice this week but I only answered once. Wouldnt mind a proper chat next time. When I got time, I try to keep them hanging and waste their time, but I make sure I dont share any real details.

Totally dodgy, annoying and fake - those are the nicest words I have for this call. They said it was market research, so I humoured them with made-up responses, and sure enough, they quickly pushed for personal stuff like my DOB and where I live. Complete rubbish and definitely against the law. I’ve reported the number here. Just to be clear, this number is a total SCAM!

Last time they rung me, they didn’t say a word but before that it was something about Brexit. They wouldn’t say who’s behind the survey or what they’re gonna do with our info. Seriously, don’t give them your details or thoughts!!!!

When I picked up, the caller just ended the call. Using 1471 showed the number, but calling it back told me it wasn't a valid number!!

Got a call from 01582310340, a nice young woman with a British accent saying she was doing a Brexit survey. I asked her what the survey was about and what questions she'd be asking. She wasn't too clear on the purpose but mentioned she'd ask who I voted for and if I supported Brexit, plus a few more personal questions. I just said thanks but no thanks.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming he needed just a quick 2 minute Brexit survey (yeah right, heard that one before). Told him I wasn’t up for a chat.

Got a call from some bloke saying they were doing a Brexit poll. I asked if I’d requested the call, and he just said, “Not sure, probably one of our data partners gave us your info.” When I asked which partner, he couldn’t say. Told him to get lost and ended the call. What a waste of my time. This happened at 10:48am on 17/05/2018.

I usually dont pick up calls from numbers I dont recognise. If it really matters, they’ll leave a voicemail. Got a call from 01582 310340 earlier tonight, but no message was left. About a week ago, around the same time, 01582 957997 rang me and again, no message left. Seems like these two numbers might be related.

had a look at other replies, quite amusing. got a call from a woman (maybe ‘Lena’) from igr (1471 said the number was 01582 3103401!) doing some survey about brexit (yeah right). started with normal questions, then weird unrelated ones, then asked how I’d vote if there was a second referendum? i just said ‘leave me alone’ since the referendum’s been done and dusted, results clear as day. when will these remain supporters accept they lost to the majority of proper UK voters? honestly, this is the strangest dodgy call I’ve had so far.

It was around 9 pm when I got a call from a lady, but her voice was really hard to make out and super quiet. I said "hello" twice and then she just hung up on me.
