The line cuts off as soon as I pick up – clearly a dodgy call!

Yet another one of those dodgy calls that seems to pop up almost daily. Best just to add them to the block list!

It's one of those annoying instances where they ring you up and don't utter a single word. Ill-mannered, if you ask me!

I just had a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up and greeted them, the line went dead. I'm at a bit of a loss regarding who could have been on the other end, but I can't shake the feeling that it was some sort of scam. Does anyone have any insights on this?

I had a call from this number earlier today, and when I picked up and greeted them, there was complete silence on the other end. They simply hung up without uttering a word. Quite peculiar, really!

I encountered an organisation claiming to be energy advisers dishing out grants, coincidentally on the very day the government announced cuts to the winter fuel allowance. Seems a bit dodgy, if you ask me! Definitely gives off a scammy vibe.
