Somebody said they were from "Visa Debit" and told me money had been taken from my account. They kept saying "Press 1, press 2" and stuff like that. So, I just hung up and blocked them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TPS, wanting me to verify some info. I told them pretty firmly that I wasn’t going to confirm anything. Then the woman got all threatening, saying she’d leak my details and drain my bank account. Didn’t hang about, reported it straight to Action Fraud.

Someone phoned me with a strong Indian accent, but the call kept cutting out so I couldn’t catch which company they were from - sounded like “Telephone .......?” They even knew my address, which was a bit creepy. They said they were trying to help stop annoying calls.
