I wasnt in when the phone rang earlier. The answerphone was set to 'record message' from about 12:20 till 8:30 pm, which ended up killing the batteries.

Some bloke called me saying I was supposedly using the internet without permission and told me to hit 1 to get through to BT. Yeah, right, sure...

Got a call claiming to be Visa about cash disappearing from my account, sounded like an asian bloke. When I asked his name, he said "James Bond"! I jokingly asked if he preferred shaken or stirred, then suddenly the line cut off. Tried calling the number back and it went straight to a private voicemail. I then messaged the guy who picked up, telling him his number was being used for scams and suggested he get in touch with the police fraud squad.
