6 yearsI got a call saying there were two payments on my Visa card. The automated message gave me three options: press 1 to approve, 2 to speak to someone, or 3 to hear the message again. I chose 3 to replay it, but instead got connected straight away to a woman with an Indian accent. She asked how she could assist me. I mentioned the call and she then tried to verify my number, asking if 01*** 8***** was mine. Confused, I asked who she actually was. She said she was from Visa, but when I requested the name linked to that phone number, she stalled and couldn’t answer. Then I asked her which bank the payments were supposedly made from. No reply. At that point I was like, “You lot are just scammers, aren’t you?” and the line went dead on their side instantly. After that, I called 1572 and blocked 01572404756 straight away.
