6 yearsI received a rather suspicious automated call claiming there were two payments pending on my Visa card. They gave me a few options: [1] Press 1 to give the go-ahead, [2] Press 2 to chat with a representative, or [3] Press 3 to replay the message. Naturally, I opted for 3 to hear that murky message again, but lo and behold, I was put through to an Indian lady instead! When I explained that I had received their call, she asked me to confirm whether 01*** 8***** was my number. Rather curious, I inquired who she represented. She stated it was Visa, but when I pressed her for the name associated with the number she provided, she went all quiet! Curiosity piqued, I then asked her about the bank where these mysterious payments were supposedly coming from-another blank response! So, I called her out, saying, "You're just a bunch of scammers, aren’t you?" And wouldn’t you know it, the line went dead right after! I promptly dialled 1572 to block the number 01572404756!
