Got a call from an Indian woman working at some call centre. She actually knew my name but kept saying she wasn’t trying to sell me anything, just wanted to ask about something. Honestly, couldn’t make out what she was talking about, her accent was really thick. Businesses should really stick to using local numbers for this kind of stuff, it’s just confusing otherwise. There should be more rules around these calls, they feel sketchy.

Then she said she had three questions to ask me. I just hung up because I never answer questions from strangers on the phone.
