They kept saying they were from EE and trying to get me to sign up for an iPhone 13 or a Samsung S22 deal for just £25 a month. Suspicious right? Definitely sounded like one of those dodgy scam calls.

Just had a dodgy call from someone feigning to be from O2. The accent was your typical giveaway linked to scams. Quite the predictable ruse, really!

01570980007 My phone flagged this number as a possible scam right away, so I knew what was coming. I decided to have a bit of fun and threw some daft questions at the caller. When I mentioned some made-up Nigerian bloke called George Agdgdgwngo (like that Channel 4 prank show character), the person on the other end suddenly went quiet and hung up. He was trying to sell me an iPhone 14 for way less than it's worth - obviously dodgy. Looks like these scams will just keep coming as money gets tighter for everyone. Stay sharp out there! 🙄🙂✌🏻😎

Haha, as soon as this number rang, Android’s Smart Detection flagged it as probably fraudulent so I reported it. Then I did a reverse search and turns out it’s some bloke in Wales running scams to set up dodgy phone contracts - bloody hell!
