4 yearsI just had a rather dodgy phone call from someone who had a strong Scouse accent. He claimed to be from DEG Ltd and insisted that they'd sent me a couple of letters. He mentioned something about having verification from the sorting office that the letters were delivered. This chap was trying to hustle me into coughing up over £2,000 for some sort of PPI commission refund they supposedly had for me. When I asked for a reference number, he wouldn’t budge unless I agreed to a payment plan. It was clear he was getting frustrated, and in the end, he simply wrapped up the call by threatening that bailiffs would come round to collect the full amount or seize my belongings. Quite the experience, I must say!DEG Ltd4 yearssome bloke rang me up claiming to be from deg ltd, insisted I owed over £2,000 in "commission" for a ppi refund. he refused to give me any sort of reference number until I agreed to some kind of repayment scheme. then he started threatening that bailiffs were on their way to collect the money. quite a stressful call!Deg Ltd4 yearsGot a call from some bloke claiming to be with Deg Ltd, really pushing me to cough up over £2,000 in commission for a PPI refund. He refused to give me any reference number unless I agreed to some repayment scheme. Then he started threatening that bailiffs would turn up to collect the money. Total nonsense.Deg Ltd4 yearsI got a call from a woman saying I owed £1300 because of a PPI claim, but I’ve never actually got any money from it.4 yearsSome bloke named Jack rang me up, saying I owed £1457 from some PPL payment or something.Jack4 yearsAs far as I’m concerned, this was clearly a fraudulent scam call. They rang me up claiming to be from some PPI commission, which I’d never even heard of before. Their story was that bailiffs were on their way to seize my property due to a supposed £1500 debt linked to a PPI reclaim company for a claim I supposedly made. They initially mentioned it was regarding a Barclaycard claim, but when I pressed them on the dates, they said it was from 2020-my PPI was settled around 7 or 8 years back! They even had the cheek to refer to an old address I haven't lived at in ages. I requested they send me proof to my email, and guess what? I’m still waiting! Don’t give in to these abhorrent scammers; they are nothing but lowlife tricksters!4 yearsPayment relating to commission on PPI debts.4 yearsI received a call regarding a PPI commission debt, and the woman on the line, who had quite a thick Liverpool accent, claimed to have sent out three letters and insisted that I settle the payment by today. I requested some form of proof to confirm her claims, but she abruptly cut the conversation short and hung up on me.Liverpool4 yearsI’ve had a rather concerning experience with a PPI commission debt collector who’s been making dire threats about sending bailiffs my way due to some unpaid commission off a mint card PPI claim lodged ages ago. They claim to have sent me loads of letters, but honestly, it feels like a complete fairy tale! Honestly, the accent on these letters sounds like it’s been crafted in Liverpool or something. Total nonsense, if you ask me!LiverpoolSubmit Your Own Report (01565 318306)
