After a bit of back and forth, I finally managed to pin down the caller, and she confessed that she was, in fact, trying to flog me something. That's when I told her to jog on. I’m absolutely fed up with these firms parading their sales pitches as if they’re some kind of noble service to the public, when really they’re just pushing unwanted goods at outrageous prices. They scrape our details from these so-called databases and make it seem like they’re calling on the government’s behalf. Pure nonsense! Why on earth can’t they find real jobs, and why isn’t the TPS stepping in to deal with these muppets and the countless others peddling the same rubbish? That’s my two cents.
