I got a call from this number with a recorded message saying my Visa had been charged £600 from some overseas place. It told me to press 1 to stop any more payments if I didn't authorise it. I just hung on for a bit and then the call cut off. I've read online this is a known scam, and £600 is the usual figure they throw around. When I tried calling back, it said the number didn’t exist. Luckily, my call blocker spotted it and blocked it. It’s easy to get worried and hit 1 or follow their steps, but Visa wouldn’t call like that, so best to just ignore it!
