Had a call from “xpert savers” doing one of those usual tele-surveys. They say it’s all legit but once you give them your info, they tend to share it around. Might not be outright scammers, but they wont stop ringing you non stop. I found it best to tell them straight away to take me off their list. If that doesn’t work just keep pestering them till they block your number!

Got a call from 01562 542713 at about 2:52 in the afternoon. There were voices in the background, definitely didn’t sound local. Then a voice asked, “mate, can you hear me?” this has happened to me a few times over the past few months, so i just hung up straight away. fed up of it now - from Ramsgate.

They rattled off words super quick, never pausing when asked for consent. Wouldn't clearly say the company's name or why they were ringing. Kept calling it a ‘general household survey’ which honestly always feels like a sneaky sales pitch to me. I said I wasn’t interested but before I could finish, they just cut me off at the very first question - about my spending habits, of all things! As someone who spent 5 years in market research, I can tell this definitely wasn’t a proper research call.
