Normally I just let these calls ring out but since I'm looking for work at the moment I figured I’d pick up unknown numbers. Some bloke with a Scouse accent rang about an accident I supposedly was involved in, which isn’t true. I nicely asked him to take my number off their list but he hung up on me straight away! Got a call from a Scouse lady who was chatting to her mate on the phone, saying “B#stards aren’t they” after I said Hello twice. Was proper shocked someone swore like that on the phone, and honestly they don’t sound the brightest if they can’t even realise when I’m actually on the line. She said she was from ATRS (or tried to say the company name a couple of times) about an RTA (don’t drive, never have). I said I had no idea what she was on about, then she just said bye and hung up.
