some bloke called saying he was from bt openreach claiming there was an issue with my phone line. i never rang them or reported any trouble and everything seems fine to me. he then asked if he could access my computer which sounded dodgy, so i told him it wasn’t a good idea and just ended the call!

Just got an automated call claiming to be from BT internet, sounded dodgy so I’ve blocked the number straight away.
