Got calls almost every day from someone pretending to be Sky, saying there's some issue with my broadband. Problem is, we don't even use Sky! They just babble about everything being connected properly. It's all rubbish. There's always a weird silence before they start talking cause they only get through when you speak first. Best trick is to pick up, stay quiet for a bit, and if they don’t say anything after like 5 seconds, just put the phone down. Works every time.
