I received a rather dodgy phone call today. It was a pre-recorded message featuring a woman’s voice claiming to be from my internet service provider. She went on about some supposed illegal activities linked to my IP address, threatening to cut off my internet access. Clearly a scam!

I got a recorded call from a lady saying my internet would be disconnected because of some supposed illegal stuff. She told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to an 'executive.' Definitely one of those scams!
