They claimed to be calling from the "fraud protection team at Visa", insisting that there had been some dubious transactions linked to my Visa card on Amazon. It felt very much like a ruse, as they were trying to alarm me into revealing personal details.

Got a call claiming to be from either Amazon or Visa, saying some purchase was made on my Visa card. They wanted me to press one to sort it out. I just ended the call straight away, 'cos banks never phone you like that.
