I got a call from a scammer based around Llanelli in West Wales the other day. They used an automated message, trying to convince me to swap out my hot water boiler. Honestly, I’d just recommend hanging up straight away and not engaging. What’s worse is they’re clearly going against UK rules by calling despite my number being registered with the telephone preference service. Proper nuisance!

I've been getting calls from this number quite a bit. It's from around here, and every time it's some automated thing about a boiler. Really annoying.

I received a robotic message regarding a new gas boiler installation. We ended up disconnecting the call midway while they were still chatting away.

So I got a call from this place claiming to offer boilers for people on benefits. But when I checked the number, it came up as a games shop in the directory. Feels dodgy, probably a scam.
