I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting that they had upgraded my computer. They asked when I last used it, but before I could respond, they abruptly hung up. To add to the oddity, they rang back only to hang up immediately again! Utter chancers!

I’ve come across the number 01554754201 and can confidently say it’s a dodgy one! If you happen to get a call, just put them on hold and set your phone down for a bit; they’re nothing but computer-generated crooks. Best to leave them hanging!

However, once I started to question the legitimacy of his claims and suggested he might be pulling a fast one, his tone took a drastic turn and he became quite nasty after just five minutes.
