Somebody rang me but the noise in the background sounded like a call centre. As soon as I picked up, they just ended the call straight away. I reckon they might get paid depending on how many calls they can push out.

Got a call from 01553387621, some lady claiming to be with "green funding" based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. She said they had some sort of grant for heating in homes and even knew my last name, which was odd. I live in Cambridgeshire, which is quite a way from King’s Lynn - about 60 miles, so I just ended the call straight away.

the call connection was really poor and full of static. the person on the line wanted to talk to someone who used to live at my place. i told them that person moved out quite a long time ago. then i politely asked if they could take that name off their database. instead i got told "i don’t like sarcasm" and then they just hung up.

When I picked up, it seemed like a hectic noisy call centre on the other end but they just ended the call straight away. So, I went ahead and blocked the number.

picked up the phone and a man's voice was there then the call just dropped out on me.

So this bloke called me up, said he's Alan from the Green Party and was apparently going through local numbers. He actually knew my name, which was a bit odd. Out of the blue, he started giggling and then just hung up on me. Weird experience!

Answered the phone but as soon as I said hello, they just cut off. Heard what sounded like a bunch of people in a call centre in the background.
