I dunno if this was some kind of joke but it wasn’t amusing at all. As soon as I answered, the person on the other end just started cursing at me out of nowhere and then hung up. Strange behaviour!

Got a call on my landline from a number saying it was from HMRE, telling me or my solicitor to ring them back right away. They warned not to ignore it or there'd be legal trouble. Seems off to me - HMRE wouldn't send an automated message like that, I reckon.

Got a call that was proper intimidating, obviously a scam, pretending to be from HM Revenue & Customs and saying they'd take legal steps if I didn’t ring them back. When I did phone back, they wanted me to give out personal details. I called them out on it and they just lost their temper, swearing at me and then slamming the phone down.

I ended up losing nearly £1000 in a scam with these lot. They were really aggressive and pressured me into it. I've told the Police and also the Bank about what happened, and they're both looking into it now.

I get so many irritating calls! Just today some bloke with an Indian accent rang up trying to sell me a laptop. When I said I wasn’t interested, he started being proper rude.
