There was this call from someone with a really thick foreign accent, barely could make out a word. It totally gave off scam vibes, so I just ended the call straight away as soon as I got that suspicious feeling.

I got a call from an automated voice saying they were from BT tech support. They told me to press 1 to talk to an operator or else my internet would be cut off. I just hung up and rang BT directly, and they told me it was a scam.

This person said they were from Openreach and kept pushing to get into my computer remotely. When I asked why, they got really rude and upset. They just refused to accept no and ended up hanging up on me.
