Someone just rang me, sounded like he was from India or somewhere similar. He started off saying I’d been in a car crash. I told him no way, and then he suddenly switched, saying one of my relatives had been in a crash. I told him again, no one did, and called him a scammer and a prat. He just hung up after that. Total waste of time!

Someone called saying they worked for an insurance firm and were enquiring if I’d recently had a car accident and wanted to make a claim. Turns out it was a bogus outfit, nothing but a phishing scam trying to trick you.
