On Saturday the 14th of May at precisely 09:29, I received a rather bothersome call from this number. The individual on the other end was not only quite pushy but also exceedingly impolite, claiming it was about my national insurance contributions. I had my doubts about the legitimacy of the call, sensing it was likely a scam, so I decided to hang up. Honestly, I feel it's all a bit tiresome, and I firmly believe that if there were any genuine concerns regarding my national insurance, I would have received a proper letter rather than an early morning phone call on a weekend.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to represent a phone provider-though I couldn't quite catch which one it was. He was insisting that they could buy me out of my contract and offer unlimited everything while keeping my current number, all for just £20 a month. He kept saying, "Madam, are you there?" in a rather comical fashion. His tenacity was rather alarming, as if he was banking on making a sale (or perhaps it was a scam). When I cheekily asked if he was trying to pull a fast one, he replied, "No, Madam, I assure you I’m not a scammer." In the end, I had enough of his persistence and told him to clear off before I abruptly ended the call. Quite the amusing interaction, really!

So, there I was, minding my own business when a chap on the other end of the line greeted me by name. Naturally, I inquired multiple times about who he was, and he introduced himself as ‘Vim’, all the while laying it on thick with compliments about how splendid I am. I persisted in asking what his motive was, but instead of answering, he ramped up the flattery, becoming quite boisterous in his praises.
