Got a recorded message from a woman claiming to be Amazon, saying my Prime membership was up for renewal - which is odd, because I’ve never even signed up. She mentioned a charge of £79.99 and said if I wanted to sort it out, I should press a button. But just as I was about to, the call suddenly cut off. I’ve read about these scams where they try to hook you up to expensive phone lines, so I’m pretty sure this was one of those dodgy pranks.

Got a robo call from a lady claiming to be Amazon, telling me my Amazon Prime subscription was about to renew for £79.99 - but I don’t even have Prime. They said if I wanted to chat about renewing, to press a button, but before I could hear any choices, the call just cut off. I’ve read about scams where they try to link you to pricey phone numbers, so I reckon this was one of those dodgy calls.
