I received a call from the number 01546564660. A chap on the other end asserted he was representing a particular customer service office and sought information about my accounts, billing details, and any outstanding debts. However, he became rather hostile when I asked if he could send the information via email.

A chap rang me insisting he was from EDF Energy and mentioned that I hadn’t put through a meter reading. I promptly informed him that I had, and I even had the bill to prove it. After that, I decided it was best to end the call. What really baffled me was that he asked for me by name when the account is actually in the name of a business. Quite strange, to say the least!
