I got a call with a robot telling me there was some tax fraud thing linked to me. Pretty obvious scam, so I just ended the call right away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC - total scam! HMRC always send letters first and only call if a case is already ongoing. So if you get a call outta the blue, it’s dodgy for sure.

I got this creepy automatic call claiming to be from HMRC, saying theres some fraud case against me and if I press 1 I can talk to one of their officers. They warned me that if I don’t press 1, I’d get a warrant for arrest. I’d done nothing wrong so I just ended the call and then Googled to see if this was a known scam. Turns out loads of ppl get these calls, so I wasn’t falling for it.
