Somebody rang up saying they were from BT Openreach. We’ve just had some work done, so I thought it might be legit at first. But then this woman started going on about viruses and malware messing with my computer and asked me to link up to some Openreach server so they could sort it out. That was the giveaway that it was a scam for sure. I ended up telling her off, she fired back, and then I just slammed the phone down. Bloody scammers! Don’t get caught out like I almost did!
