I've been getting incessant calls for several days now. When I answered, there was nothing on the line, just an eerie silence. It was peculiar, to say the least. I've finally decided to block the number.

I didn’t get a chance to pick up since I was already on another line.

I chose not to pick up since I didn’t recognise the number or its area code. Pleased I made that decision!

When I asked, "Is that ###?" they didn’t reveal who they were, so I decided to end the call.
