Received a call on my mobile, but I've got no clue how they got my number. I seldom use it, keeping it solely for emergencies, and even my mates don’t have it. I only stumbled upon it when I turned the phone on to see if it was charged—no voicemail or anything.

I had a rather peculiar call where the person on the other end didn’t bother to introduce themselves or even mention my name. They seemed quite fixated on finding out who my current internet provider is. Deciding it was best not to engage, I promptly ended the conversation and added the number to my block list.

I keep getting these frustrating phone calls from someone pushing dubious internet contracts.

I came across this 'Broadband Specialist' promoting lower-priced internet packages. They seem overly eager to conduct a speed test on my connection, which sets off a few red flags in my mind.

I kindly informed the caller that I had no interest in their spiel, but unfortunately, they escalated to being rather unpleasant and aggressive. I ultimately had to hang up. I'd strongly advise treating such calls with caution and, if possible, just ignoring them altogether.

I'm absolutely fed up with them ringing me constantly. It's so irritating!
