I received a call from this number earlier today, but thankfully I chose not to pick up. After reading the various comments here, I’m really relieved I didn’t! A big shoutout to all who shared their experiences; it’s incredibly helpful for those of us who are cautious. Cheers!

Chose not to drop a message on the voicemail.

I’ve had some experience with this firm before. They seemed to know my password and even my address, which is a bit concerning. I hardly share my password with anyone unless I’m ringing them directly, so when they revealed it to me, I thought they might be legitimate. I also recall having previous interactions with them, and I’ve got Sky Talkshield activated on my phone too.

This furious lad who's been ringing up needs to take a breather.

I’ve just gone ahead and flagged this number on the Action Fraud site for the police.

An individual from this number contacted my elderly mother, who is 82, and aggressively pressured her into purchasing unnecessary insurance for her appliances. They even insisted that she must acquire it! I’ve already sorted insurance for her items, so this is clearly a scam.

A chap who introduced himself as Steve rang me up, inquiring after my husband. When I mentioned my husband wouldn’t be back until later this evening, he abruptly cut the call. After doing a bit of digging and stumbling upon some reviews on this site, I decided to block his number with immediate effect.

A rather menacing chap contacted my mother-in-law about some washing machine insurance supposedly expiring. This was entirely inaccurate, and as soon as she mentioned she didn’t have such insurance, his tone escalated to aggression, claiming he had a recording! I urge everyone to avoid sharing any personal information with these individuals, as it’s clearly a scam.

I encountered a rather pushy young chap demanding £180 for a washing machine insurance policy renewal that my mother never even signed up for in the first place! He was quite belligerent, mentioning things like county court judgments and bailiff actions if she didn’t cough up the dosh. His persistence was frankly irritating, and I eventually had to just hang up on him to escape the situation!

I've got a cover for my washing machine and television, but that’s a load of rubbish! The bloke insisted I was attempting to wriggle out of it, which is utterly ridiculous! I only have dealings with one particular company, and it certainly isn’t theirs! I made it clear that I believed his intentions were less than honest. Just a heads-up for everyone! Stay vigilant!

I received a call earlier today. The person on the other end already knew my name and inquired about my well-being. Naturally, I wanted to find out who I was speaking to, and after he mentioned he was from a company called National Appliance, I decided to cut the conversation short. I promptly hung up and added the number to my block list.

A bloke just rang my mum and stepdad's landline, claiming he owes them cash for some insurance, even though everything's under my mum's name. We're based in Crewe, mind you. Quite the odd situation!

I received a call earlier from a chap using this number. To my surprise, he addressed me by my name and mentioned that my insurance for white goods had expired. The thing is, I've never taken out any insurance for white goods, so I quickly realised it was a scam. When I confronted him about it, he became quite hostile, prompting me to hang up.

Received yet another call from this number, and yet again they're pushing for payment of £185 for some washing machine insurance we neither require nor possess. Their persistence is bewildering, and their attitude strikes me as quite boorish. It must be quite unnerving, even alarming, for individuals who might feel more vulnerable.

Repeatedly bombarded an elderly woman with calls, subjecting her to harassment and intimidation. This has caused her significant distress and left her feeling quite exposed.

A persistent caller was troubling an elderly woman, bombarding her with unwanted calls that left her feeling harassed and under threat. This relentless behaviour caused her considerable anxiety and made her feel quite exposed.

My mother has received multiple calls from this number, along with another similar one, all pertaining to insurance for her washing machine. Today alone, they've rung her up on seven separate occasions!

I’ve been receiving non-stop calls at my place in Cornwall, and they never bother to leave any sort of voicemail. Quite irritating, really!

Oh, here we go again! A chap claimed that we had insurance on our washing machine that was up for renewal. However, we never signed up for any insurance in the first place! Seems like another dodgy scheme to me.

Corby, Sunday at 9:20 in the morning. I received a call from a chap insisting that my white goods insurance had lapsed. I told him I don't even have insurance for my appliances, to which he responded that their records show otherwise and that it was time for renewal. I hung up and made sure to block the number so they can't bother me again.

This number rang my mother, who suffers from dementia. Thankfully, I happened to be around to answer. The caller claimed to be representing her bank! However, when I inquired about which bank he referred to, he abruptly ended the call. It’s despicable how low some individuals will stoop.

I recently had a look at the calls my elderly dad has been getting, and this particular number popped up among them. Given that he's been targeted by scammers in the past, I've made the decision to add this one to the blocked list. Better safe than sorry!

I received a call from a chap with an Irish lilt who insisted that I was in arrears on a washing machine contract. When I told him I had no such agreement, he became quite impolite and confrontational. Quite an unpleasant experience, to say the least!

I contacted my dad regarding the insurance for the washing machine, and what a bother it turned out to be. They kept ringing repeatedly, and when my father didn’t give them the response they were after, their tone shifted to one that felt rather rude and even a bit hostile. It’s absolutely shameful how they prey on those who are most vulnerable!

Could we please include Pembrokeshire on the map? Someone just attempted to call my mum! I often bring this up when I flag a number, but I've now resorted to stashing her bank card, cheques, and anything that has her financial information. This way, she won't be able to inadvertently share her details and fall victim to a scam.

My mother just received a call from this number, and they were quite threatening. It’s clearly a scam, and a particularly vile one at that. Regrettably, Virgin doesn’t filter out these kinds of calls. Just a heads up—be cautious and don’t pick up!

Quite pushy, really. I’ve had my TV and washing machine covered with them for several years now. The chap on the line insisted I never called, even went so far as to call me daft for not recalling it. Just as I was about to explain myself, he hung up on me!
