Earlier, I received a phone call from a woman who identified herself as being from Philips Legal Solutions, located in Lichfield, Staffordshire. She claimed to be calling on behalf of the company and had knowledge of my name and unlisted phone number. Her purpose was to inquire about whether I currently have or would be interested in obtaining a Will. She emphasized that her company was highly reputable. However, I pointed out that if it truly was reputable, it would not resort to intrusive cold calls. When asked about how they obtained my information, she was unable to provide me with an answer. She assured me that my details would be removed from their contact list, although I doubt this will actually happen.
