While our car was parked and we weren’t around, someone scratched it. The driver left us their insurance info from Aviva, so we went ahead and filed a claim through our insurance, OneClaim. Now we’re getting calls from this number, and they already have the other driver’s name, our postcode, our address, and even our names. Doesn’t this seem like a GDPR violation? I really want to find out who leaked my personal info and if they earned anything from sharing it.

Got a call at about 5.46pm today, some lady said I deserved compensation for a car crash. She seemed to know quite a lot, even my car's registration. Her name was something like Williams, maybe beginning with an S or T. I told her it sounded dodgy and ended the call straight away. Then went ahead and blocked the number. This happened here in West Sussex.

Got calls from 01543629125 saying they were from my insurer about a crash I had last year, promising compensation. They tried to get my personal info but I ended the call. They kept ringing me again and again and got pretty pushy. So I ended up blocking the number.

I got a call from some third-party assessment place, with a woman named Sofie Williams. They seemed to know a lot about an accident I had last year - names, details and all that, so it felt like someone must have leaked my info. They kept telling me I’d get some sort of compensation, but it sounded fishy to me. After a while, I just ended the call. Would definitely avoid dealing with them.

On 12th June 2020, I got a call about a road traffic accident I supposedly had the previous year. They seemed pretty convincing at first since they knew quite a bit, even the person who hit us from behind. But honestly, I’d steer well clear of them.

Got a call from a woman saying she was with some vehicle agency about an accident last year. Bit of an exaggeration though, it was just a tiny bump. If I wanted to pursue a claim, I would’ve done it myself. She kept ringing me back after I hung up, which was pretty annoying.

I got a call about a accident I supposedly was in last year. As soon as I said it was already dealt with, they just cut the call short like they were fishing for something. Not impressed, really.
