If they ask you a question, try NOT to say ‘yes’. They might be recording you and later claim you agreed to buy shares in some fake company or something dodgy like that. When I get a call from an unknown number, I usually just pick up and wait for someone to speak first. Sometimes if it’s an automated call and they find the line silent, your number gets labelled as inactive and you stop getting calls from them.
