I received a voicemail that was nothing but background noise, akin to what you’d hear in a call centre. It’s baffling - why bother leaving a message if you're not going to communicate anything? Lately, I've been bombarded with calls from all sorts of unfamiliar numbers, and many of them are withheld. Quite the nuisance, isn’t it?

I received a call from a woman with a rather pronounced accent who mentioned my name and claimed she was reaching out regarding a little collision I’d supposedly had not too long ago. I simply hung up the phone. To be honest, I've not been in any sort of accident, so I realised it must be a dodgy scheme. I've definitely learnt my lesson and will be steering clear of that number in the future!
