I picked up the phone and immediately got cut off. The number shows up as a quantity surveyor from Kendal, Cumbria, but whenever I try calling back, it just says the number’s currently out of service. I’ve had enough and have now blocked it for good!

I got a call from a company claiming to handle accident compensation, supposedly from Merseyside, but the number they called from was actually based in Kendal, which sounded a bit dodgy to me. When I asked the person about why they used a Kendal number instead of their local one, they started dodging the question and then got quite rude! Their website was something like freshcontacts and it did show a Merseyside address, so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t use their proper area code. Honestly, this whole thing seems a bit sketchy. Just be careful if you get contacted by them!
