I received a call from a chap who claimed to be reaching out from Vodafone regarding an upgrade for my broadband. I mentioned that I'd rather handle it in a shop. Oddly enough, there was a complete absence of the usual bustling sounds you'd expect from a call centre.

they call saying they are from Vodafone and try to get your account info, total scam. best thing is just dont pick up.

A caller representing Vodafone rang me up, asserting that I’d been selected for a complimentary early upgrade. The moment I mentioned that I was quite satisfied with my current phone and intended to stick with it, she abruptly hung up on me. Quite curious, really!
