I got a call from someone saying they were from a government programme about improving loft insulation. At first, it kinda sounded like a recorded message, but then the guy jumped in explaining that the odd sound was because he had to speak while reading from a script using some microphone setup. He said they wanted to send someone round to assess my loft insulation, claiming that according to their info, it might need an upgrade. He was about to ask me some questions but I said no thanks. I think he might have been working from home as I heard a dog barking in the background.
