Definitely a scam number, don’t ring it back! It somehow attaches itself to your phone. When I tried to call back, TalkTalk blocked the call. I’ve already told TalkTalk about this and they said they’d look into who owns the number and try to shut it down. Please warn older people and anyone who might be easily tricked, they could end up losing a lot of cash.

My landline kept buzzing nonstop, even tho I hardly ever use it and haven't shared the number with anyone. It's mostly just there for emergencies. Eventually, I picked up and got this robotic voice telling me “your Visa card was charged £300 today by a transaction you don't recognise.” Nah, that’s definitely not right.
