Around midday I got an automated call from a bloke with an English accent saying my National Insurance Number was suspended. Guess it’s a fresh new scam, since the usual ones have been popping up forever. What freaked me out was the number had my local area code. Bit worrying to think these fraudsters might be operating nearby.
