I got a call from a recorded lady’s voice saying I had to press 1 right away to block a dodgy Visa transaction of £600 going abroad. I pressed 1 as told but then the call just dropped. So, I rang 1471 to see who had called me back but the number shown didn’t match anything listed by B.T. I’m fairly sure my landline wasn’t properly cut off and maybe if I’d tried ringing again it would’ve just gone straight to those scammers.
