Received a rather muddled call on my mobile this afternoon; the connection was so poor that I struggled to decipher much apart from the fact that it was yet another PPI nuisance. They really ought to be put a stop to, especially since the number appeared to be a typical UK format, which misleads one into thinking it might be something significant. Interestingly, the voice on the line had what I can only describe as a peculiar "Mid Atlantic" twang.

I received a call from this number, and after what I’d describe as a rather challenging chat, they abruptly disconnected. However, when I tried to ring them back, someone did actually pick up. Honestly, I’d suggest you give them a bell as well, just to use up a bit of their time! If you request to speak to a supervisor, they’ll inevitably come on the line. It seems like they might be involved in telemarketing, but this particular call was regarding PPI.
