Got a robo call saying my internet was going to be cut off within 24 hours. I pressed option 1 and got connected to someone at a call centre who told me there was an issue with my account and my broadband would be cancelled. Definitely a scam!

This guy calling me had a really bad grasp of English and first said he was from B.T. When I didn’t buy it, he switched and said he was with Openreach! He kept pestering me about issues with B.T but refused to share the phone number he was calling from. He did give me a manager’s name but dodged any questions I had about proving their identity. Then, suddenly, the phone just went dead.
