I got a call from 01522699900 claiming to be BT, saying they had been told my internet was slow and they could sort it out right then and there. Thing is, I’m not a BT customer at all. I tried to keep the woman on the line, but honestly she stumbled over her own script - lots of awkward silences, repeating herself, then nothing. In the end, I told her maybe she should think about a different job.
