This number has rung me like four times now. First, an Indian woman spoke, then a man said they were trying to protect my internet from being hacked. He asked me to download an app called QS and read out some code, but I refused and ended the call. They’ve kept calling since. Sounds like they want to hack into your internet. If you do online shopping or use internet banking, watch out - they could steal all your info. Stay safe, folks!

Received a call from a bloke with a really thick Indian accent who said he was ringing from 'Accident Helpline' about a crash I was involved in. I kept asking what company exactly he was with, but he just kept repeating 'Accident Helpline'. Then another guy got on the line, and when I asked his company name, he gave me the same answer. I’m pretty sure this is a scam because I got a letter from Accident Helpline saying they never make cold calls! Watch out for this!

Got a call from a guy with a foreign accent saying he was from some accident claims helpline. My number isn’t on any lists and I’m registered with TPS anyway. I’ve asked them not to ring me again, but they just keep ignoring it and calling back a few days later. When I asked for info about who they were or what they wanted, they just wouldn’t say anything and ended up hanging up on me. Proper annoying!

There was a fair amount of background chatter, typical of a call centre, and the person on the line introduced herself as "Jenny" and inquired about my well-being. It didn’t take long for me to understand that this was a bothersome sales call. I informed her that she was breaching the Telephone Preference Scheme rules by contacting my number and promptly ended the call.

Right, so these muppets rang me on Friday 08.03.19 around 1:40pm, but I didn’t pick up and they didn’t bother leaving a message. Then they tried again next day, Saturday 09.03.19 at 6:25pm, but I wasn’t home then. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. Normally I wouldn’t bother blocking the first time since they often switch numbers and don’t call back from the same one, but this lot annoyed me enough.

Why do people even bother ringing my landline when they don’t say a word? Honestly, I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. It’s rather disconcerting when my caller ID flashes "International"-it always reminds me of the times my beloved husband used to ring from overseas when he was working away. It’s quite distressing!
