Honestly, this was clearly a scam call - loads of background noise like some fake call centre setup. Totally useless and sketchy, wouldn’t trust it for a second.

Got a call from 01-05-2019 around 09:21am. It was another scammer pretending to be from BT, saying there were issues with my internet. These dodgy calls come around once or twice a month, always from different phone numbers. Makes me wonder if the number shown is even real or just spoofed. The person on the line said her name was Veronica. I just hung up straight away.

Luckily, my mother-in-law had this number saved on her phone, and since she doesn't own a computer, it was a bit of a mystery. The caller didn’t leave any message that she can recall, which isn’t surprising given her age.

They've switched to using multiple phone numbers now, making it way worse than just pestering. Honestly, this feels more threatening. Make sure you warn your older family members and neighbours about it. The TPS isn't doing much to stop them, and I really think it's high time they start getting taken to court for this.

I got a call from someone who said she was Veronica from BT, but it was obviously a recorded message cause it took ages to begin. These scam calls pretending to be BT are so annoying, I just ended the call after a couple of words were said. Sick of these rubbish calls!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin but it was definitely a scam. They try to get you to let them into your computer or laptop so watch out and just hang up!

Got a call from a recorded voice who said she was Veronica from BT. She told me some story about my internet being hacked by some international crime group. I just ended the call straight away.
