Every week I get calls from these same numbers and lots more. PPI claims, pensions, life insurance, car accident claims, even fancy wine investments. I don’t get why no one in the government or police seem bothered to look into these jokers, no matter how many people complain. It’s the same with all the dodgy phishing emails I report to Microsoft. Surely they can track down where these numbers and emails come from? But apparently nobody actually cares. It’s really frustrating.

Got a call from some lass up north, sounded like she was from Liverpool, sayin’ I needed a pension review cos it’s some new government rule. Told her to do one and stop wafflin on - I’m in finance meself, so I know a con when I see one. Don’t bother talkin’ to these daft, shameless scammers, they’ll rip you off proper. They keep asking for your name, address and bits about you, but really they're just gathering info to use in scams later on - they basically sell your data to crooks. To me, they're just a tool used to collect info for dodgy dealings down the line. Best thing to do is just ignore them completely and hang up straight away - never share or confirm any of your personal info. They often ring using internet phone lines and the calls usually come from India or other places where these scams seem to operate from.
