The person on the other end claimed to be acquainted with me and offered to assist with clearing any alleged debts and halting bank charges. Confused, as I currently have no debts whatsoever, I promptly terminated the call. I found the whole interaction quite dubious. What's particularly baffling is how they had both my name and number. There was a noticeable cacophony of voices in the background and a rather unnerving delay before the caller began speaking-almost as if they were just connecting to me after my answer. It left me a bit uneasy. If they decide to ring me again, I might engage them a bit longer to uncover their motives.
