Every time I give my number on a delivery form (like when they say it’s just for contacting you about your parcel) I swear it’s just a sneaky way for them to pass my details on to others. They end up selling it or whatever, and then you get bombarded with calls non-stop. That’s how they figure out your name, I guess. Now, I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Then I pop onto this site, and when it turns out to be a telemarketer or scammer, I actually feel quite smug about not picking up. Scam 0, me 1!
